Jeremy Clarkson once said, “It’s not the speed that kills you, it’s the sudden stop.” Rival television program Fifth Gear has provided us with a violent example of that saying. From the first episode of Season 20, currently airing in the UK now, they crashed a first generation Ford Focus into a concrete wall at 120mph (193km/h).
Bloody hell! That ought to make you think.

Very sickening.
Where in Australia can anyone realistically achieve such speeds – nowhere. However yes, people should not even think of travelling in a car at these speeds.
Where in Australia? Pretty much any highway/freeway you can find. Illegal of course, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Wow! Would I be right in saying two cars colliding head on at 100km p/h would have a similar result? Best to leave speed to the track in my opinion in a prepped car
