Ricardo Patrese, former Formula 1 driver, thought it might be a nice idea to take his wife for a nice Sunday drive. They were in a small Japanese hatchback on a quiet road with no traffic. Isn’t that nice.
Fortunately, for your viewing pleasure, Mrs Patrese wasn’t so keen on Ricardo’s driving style. Okay, so the quiet road was the Jerez circuit in Spain, and the hatchback was a Civic Type R. Of course, old racers never die, they just do it faster. I don’t speak Italian, but I know the odd swear word or two, haha.
This clip is a great laugh and the look of horror on Mrs Patrese’s face is beautifully contrasted by Ricardo’s ice cool demeanour. Enjoy!

After her 1st ahhh, she goes, “please, the lads just asked you to drive slow” then she goes, “your doing this on purpose” , “no no no no, im not enjoying myself”, “this car isn’t a formula 1 car, its not made to go fast” , “please slow down, I have children at home waiting for me”
“slow down ricardo, are u crazy? Watch out! WATCH OUT!”
@3.11 – “Enough, you’re a bastard! GO F*CK YOURSELF” (does hand to elbow thing). “I told you I didn’t want to come for a ride” “every time I come in the car with you I want to vomit” (Patrese, biggest grin) Then she notices the camera and starts laughing.

Oh this is just hilarious! I couldn’t help but chuckle when just after leaving the pits, Patrese has a little smile in the corner of his mouth, then plants his foot. Seems to me that neither of them realised the camera was rolling until right towards the end.
BTW, Mrs Patrese is a bit of babe!

Apparently she is calling him all sorts of colorful words including one begining with C and my Italian friend thought it was the funniest thing ever!
