BMW Australia has announced pricing for its M Sport Package, which is now available on the current model 3 Series.
The M Sport Package is a suite of enhancements, mostly cosmetic, from the M Sport catalogue. It’s available to option on all 3 Series models offered in Australia, except the entry level 318d. Pricing ranges from $5,460–6,844 depending on the model chosen.
Items included in the M Sport Package are:
- Sport suspension (lowers car by 10mm)
- 19″ M Sport alloy wheels
- M aerodynamics package (body kit)
- BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line
- M Sport leather steering wheel
- Dakota leather upholstery
- BMW Individual roofliner in Anthracite
- M door sill trims
- Aluminium interior trim with Estoril Blue or Black high-gloss highlights
- sport seats
- instrument cluster with unique printing
- two ambient light colour selections complete the package
BMW Australia expects around 25% of all new 3 Series models will be fitted with the M Sport Package.
Further to the list of items above the package can be complemented by optional Estoril Blue metallic paint and M Sport brakes.
The Ultimate Power Suit: the BMW 3 Series Now Available with M Sport Package

BMW Australia today announced details of the highly anticipated new M Sport Package which is now available for the top-selling new 3 Series Sedan model.
The BMW M Sport Package enhances the dynamic character of the 3 Series with Sport suspension, that lowers the ride height by 10mm, 19†M light-alloy wheels, M aerodynamics package and BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line which extends to the new 8 bar Kidney Grille.
Additionally, for the interior, a new M Sport leather steering wheel, Dakota leather upholstery, BMW Individual roofliner in Anthracite, M door sill trims, Aluminium interior trim with Estoril Blue or Black high-gloss highlights, sport seats, an instrument cluster with unique printing and two ambient light colour selections complete the package.
The M Sport Package can be further enhanced with additional exclusive options such as Estoril Blue metallic paint, an M Sport Brake package as well as reduced pricing for the Adaptive M suspension compared to non-M Sport fitted models.
BMW Group Australia Managing Director, Mr Phil Horton said the 3 Series range has always appealed as the most sporty luxury compact sedan on the market which is reinforced in the popularity of M Sport Package for this model.
“With more than a quarter of all previous generation 3 Series sold in Australia being optioned with the M Sport Package it is clear that our customers place a premium on performance and sportiness,†said Mr Horton.
“The 3 Series has always had the sporting edge in this class and the new M-Sport package epitomises that character,†he said.
