A lap of the new Austin Grand Prix circuit

Circuit of the Americas, Austin, Texas

The F1 mid-season slumber awakens in Belgium this weekend, but today we bring you an early preview of the new Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas. It’s a computer-generated onboard lap with commentary from James Allen and Stephen Hood from Codemasters.

The 5.47km circuit makes its race debut on 18 November. It’ll be interesting to see if the latest Hermann Tilke track is as heavily criticised as some of his others.

Thanks for that .. It looks like there’s been a huge improvement to the Codemasters Formula 1 2012 version. Looking forward to that arriving on shelves in September.

Cheers!

Since the introduction of DRS, Turkey holds the record for the highest number of overtakes in since 1983 i believe..

So no, nothing like Turkey thanks. 😉
