“Aaaaaaaargh! Oh my God!”
Some more schadenfreude for you today with this video of a 19-year-old punting an E46 M3 into the rocks near Phoenix, Arizona. Sure, at that age, we’ve probably all been guilty of doing stupid stuff on the roads that we’re not proud of. But owning up to it and sharing the video with the world?!
Fair play to the kid, though, who has had this quote attributed to him via YouTube: “Well it happened at South Mountain park in Phoenix AZ. One of my buddies and I were out just having fun and driving until I came up on a deceptive corner, misjudged it and it happened. No injuries. The car was a total loss. Misjudgment of the road caused the accident.”

He’s leaning forward in the drivers seat and gripping and turning the steering wheel the way a six year old does when they play on the Daytona machine at Timezone. What a vegetable!

Is it an M3? Doesn’t sound like an M3 and are those mirrors M3 kit? I’m not sure maybe an M3 expert can chime in here.
Well it has grey gauges, which means it’s an M car. A quick google shows that it is indeed an E46 steering wheel, and the mirrors look the same as an E46 M3, so I think it’s legit.
Could it possibly be the front end getting a little light attempting that last bend? It looks like a small crest, hence why he went straight ahead instead of following the corner.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse driving position in my life!
