Nine new images of the next-generation Audi A3 three door hatchback have surfaced online. There are some minor differences to the single image which appeared last week.
We expect Audi will come out with official info in the coming days, in advance of the A3’s world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.
Audi has already given us an official preview inside the new A3. When considering the exterior and interior styling it’s clear Audi has taken a considered developmental approach.
The third-gen A3 is the first production model to roll out on the new MQB platform and that is likely to also usher in a suite of new engine and equipment improvements.
Overall, we think this A3 looks pretty good and are keen to discover more.

audi really needs to plug up the source of their leaks. all their recent cars have been ‘leaked’ before their official debut. coincidence?
Not a coincidence at all IMO. 😉
You know, it actually looks really good.
I’m a little disappointed by it. The 2011 sedan concept struck a better balance between hard & soft lines. This just looks a bit like an afterthought in comparison to the sedan.

And the orange sections of the interior look awful. I hope that’s one of many options.
But the concept cars always do. Also that concept is to close to the A4 IMO.
This new A3 is obviously part of the corporate image because it looks like an A1 from the front.
See how it goes in the flesh I reckon
Looks great, if a little safe and predictable. But then, it could have ended up like the new 1-series…
Yawn, again….
I like it.
For an Audi its …. bland, will have to wait and see how it turns out.
coincidence or not i think it looks great! loving the black and orange interior
just get a golf and save 10 grand, it’s the same bloody car!
Looks nice, although the white doesn’t do it any favours. Infinitely better than the 1 series.

Jav it’s not the same car. We own a golf and an s3 and by far there are improvements to audi fav in engineering evident –
Doors thud as solid not tinny like golf gti which is much more solid than jap rivals but when u compare to audi isn’t not that great.
More aluminum saves weight vs golf yet feels more solid go figure?
Awd
Better interior
Better sound proofing
Better steering
Marketing make them different but not just the same car mate.
