Australian pricing for the seriously sexy Jaguar F-Type Coupé has been announced and starts at $119,900 for the entry-level model powered by a 250kW 3.0 litre supercharged V6.

The wick has been turned up on that supercharged V6 to 280kW for the F-Type S Coupé, priced from $152,300. Things get a lot more serious with the F-Type R Coupé, which boasts a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 pumping out 404kW and will set you back $219,600 plus on road costs.

Jaguar Announces Australian Pricing for F-TYPE Coupé

February 25 2014 – Jaguar Australia is delighted to announce the new F-TYPE Coupe will have a recommended retail price starting from $119,900 (excluding all on road costs).

The all-aluminium F-TYPE Coupe, Jaguar’s most dynamically capable, performance-focused sports car is due to arrive in Australian dealerships in July this year. The F-TYPE Coupe will be available in three variants – F-TYPE, F-TYPE S, and the new range-topping F-TYPE R.

The range-topping F-TYPE R Coupé represents the pinnacle of the F-TYPE range. The F-TYPE R Coupé is powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine in 404kW/680Nm tune, delivering acceleration to 100km/h in 4.2-seconds, and a top speed of 300km/h.

The F-TYPE S Coupé and F-TYPE Coupé are powered by Jaguar’s 3.0-litre V6 Supercharged petrol engines in 280kW/460Nm and 250kW/450Nm forms respectively, giving 0-100km/h in 4.9/5.3-seconds and top speeds of 275/260km/h.

The F-TYPE Coup̩ embodies the uncompromised design vision of the stunning Jaguar C-X16 concept sports coup̩ that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, its dramatic cabin-rearward stance being defined by three heartlines. The first two heartlines Рshared with F-TYPE Convertible Рform the muscular front and rear wings, the third heartline being the sweeping Coup̩ roof profile which provides an unbroken silhouette while emphasising the visual drama of the tapered cabin sitting between powerful rear haunches.
