I’d go the Merc, well most likely going the Merc.
at this level – hot hatches… the car needs to excite you and be edgy, i’m not sure that the m135 does that.
also once optioned up there isn’t much difference price wise between them here.
Actually, I think there is a still a big difference between them on price. There certainly looks to be close to $20k between the Mlite I bought, and the A45 RRP otr.
I read Harris’s review in that context, and remain very happy with my decision.
No way, similarly optioned both are basically $75k before on-roads
Don’t forget the a45 comes with everything, while the m135 does not, by the time you add metallic paint, roof, HK + DAB, electric seats, adaptive suspension etc. you are well at $75k so no difference between them price wise.
