Imagine you’re lucky enough to own a Ferrari 599XX. It’s a limited run 599 sent to the extreme, with a worked 6.0 litre V12 producing 540kW (725hp).
Only trouble is, being a what is essentially a racecar made for the wealthy, it cannot be driven on public roads. Just as well Ferrari rents out world-class circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps through its corse clienti programme, then.
After the break you’ll see a few official photos and two very cool unofficial videos of the 599XX and FXX circulating at the famous Spa race track.
Perhaps, even cooler than this, is the F1 corse clienti programme, which allows mug punters with wads of cash to live the ultimate dream.
If the pics below don’t make you insanely jealous you’re not human.
Ferrari XX and F1 Clienti programmes in action at Spa
Spa-Francorchamps, 19 September – After a successful weekend for the European series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli at the start of August, the Corse Clienti is back in action at Spa for two days of private testing for drivers involved in the exclusive FXX, 599XX and F1 Clienti programmes. No less than thirteen historic single-seaters will be tackling this legendary and truly incredible track which has hosted 44 of the 55 Belgian Formula 1 World Championship Grands Prix. There are 15 drivers taking part in the XX Programmes, making the most of the valuable advice offered by professional drivers on how to tackle this very long circuit, often affected by changeable weather.
Marc Gene, the Spaniard who works with the Scuderia on promotional activities and on development of the car and has a great depth of F1 experience through his work with the Maranello marque, will be there as an F1 coach for those at the wheel of the historic single-seaters.
