Following yesterday’s news on the 2012 Porsche 911 we bring you these two spy shots of the car’s revised rear end. You’ll see the car features some sleek looking LED tail lights. Overall, though, the look is unmistakably 911.

Stunning both, no doubt in that and especially the first one.
One distinct move from all other 911s of the past is the fact that the rear bonnet no longer open to reveal the engine. All it allows you to do is to access things that require service such as topping up oil, ala Boxster/Cayman. If you look at the spy shots and the official Porsche teaser video, you will also see how much higher the rear bonnet line is now as a result. Makes the back look much higher and a bit weird. Anyway, roll on Frankfurt!
looks like when you open the cayman boot – nothing to see…
when is ausmotive going to test the new cayman r?
This weekend if all goes to plan and our automotive benefactor is still up for it. 😉
Wish I had an automotive benefactor… Lucky bastard 😛
Can’t wait for your review and pics.
i’m waiting too. hopefully you can find another ‘benefactor’ who is willing to let you put their m1 up against it!?
