The arse end of a Nissan GT-R is all you’re likely to see if the driver chooses to plant their foot. When details of the updated 2011 GT-R were released performance data was not published. But when you have a trump card like this up your sleeve, why not make a song and dance about it.
Nissan completed their testing in Japan during mid-November and recorded two 0–100km/h runs of 3.0 seconds on consecutive days. The weather was fine and sunny, with temps in the mid-teens.
Three seconds flat! Surely, the Nissan GT-R has to rank as one of the best bang for buck cars you can drive off a showroom floor.

Finally a car fast enough for my wife, excellent city car for the driving enthusiast who’s other car is a slower porsche with scaffolding in it etc.
hahaha, what’s with the address for this article? : p Like the colour but I think I prefer the look of the original to this mid life upgrade
Yeah I probably shouldn’t have put the 3.0 when creating the article. WordPress drops the punctuation automatically, so shoulda just put “3 seconds”. Oops!
Just as well my Porsche no longer has scaffolding then Wes.
Would love one of these – tour de force.
But how fast around the Ring?
Whoa!!! i gotta see it to believe it though
