Well, sort of. The Toyota F1 team is adding an exclusive line to its merchandise catalogue this year. “While stocks last” you can get your hands on front wings, rear wings, and even a rear wing, engine cover and undertray as one item. There seems to be enough on offer, including wheels and suspension parts, to buy your very own F1 car. It’s kind of like meccano, only bigger and better.
Prices start at around AU$360 a go up to AU$9000. The items are available online, although AUSmotive was having problems loading the website just now, perhaps you will have better luck.

Toyota F1 team puts Grand Prix hardware up for sale
Formula One merchandise has never seen anything like it: alongside the familiar caps, T-shirts and keyrings, Toyota’s grand prix team is selling a host of high-tech parts from its past racing cars.
Carbon fibre wings, brakes and light alloy wheels can all be had with the click of a mouse at the Toyota F1 web site at www.toyota-f1-shop.com, with prices ranging from £175 to £4,400.
At the bargain end of the market there are wheels, brake discs and suspension parts from less than £200, while front and rear wing assemblies can be yours for between £700 and £2,000. And if you want that ultimate desk accessory, a complete rear wing, engine cover and underbody section – virtually half a car – the asking price is just £4,400.
“While stocks last†promises to be an apt sales pitch as F1 fans rush to snap up a rare bargain.
