This year marks 200 years since the Peugeot brothers entered the industrial age, converting the family’s cereal mill into a metal foundry. As a special birthday present the current day company is giving itself an updated logo.
Along with the new logo comes a new tagline; Peugeot Motion & Emotion. The familiar Lion first emerged on Peugeot products in 1858 and, in the company’ own words, the new logo is “now simpler in design, more dynamic, with a new posture and fluidity.” The first car to wear the new badge will be the RCZ Coupé, due for release in a few months.
